now i replaced my fixtures with your fixture sheet as Quincy advises in another post.
and it still doesn't work...
i can't see my spots anymore when I press the highlight button...
the "beam" parameter in the section Raw Dimmer says :
no matching fixture ...
I've watched the complete tutorial this time, but still have problems.
I can see the fixture file in the console, via usb stick,
But when I choose it and click OK, it doesn't appears in the green bar, and still show the last fixture I patched...
I don't understand...
Ok i missed this part of the tutorial
i cannot import the file via usb key.
the console recognize the key but doesn't find the file...
can You help me with this?
Thanks a lot
I'm gonna try this fixture sheet this evening
I have some problems with my fixtures Chauvet R1 spot.
First, when I highlight them, they strob. I need to engage a dimmer, and close the strob fonction each time.
Second, I can't find the "black" function: Black during the Pan-Tilt, Black during color wheel moving, and Black during gobo wheel moving.
I don't know how to solve both problems. Shall I build a new fixture with the MA builder?
Do somebody has already built it?
Thanks for your answer.
Indeed, multipatch would be a great update.
Do you have any idea about the release of the update?
Yes, storing groups of 2 or 3 fixtures is helpful, nevertheless it is not a complete answer for our use... Imagine that we have to do this about twenty times per show... It is not as flexible as we need it to be.
Besides, playing with movers is very easy, flexible, user friendly...
I'm a beginner in Ma's world and in the dot2 product.
Though I already know the Lightcommander, i'm a bit lost in the management of fixtures id's on the dot2.
I work essentially with traditionnal lighting, and most of the time, I need to couple 2 fixtures (which are on different dimmers) with the same channel number, in order to stick to a lighting plan... So that I can recall multiple fixtures with 1 channel id.
This is pretty easy with the lightcommander, or any other lighting desk, but I wonder if this is possible in the dot2.
I'm looking for a solution, I found nothing but cloning a fixture to another, without a satisfying result for me...
Is there any command I missed?*
Thanks for your help.
