  • Hallo!

  • I'll share a Bome midi file for an APC40 later today. Maybe it can help.

The buttons in rows are mapped exactly as they are on incoming. I use the hexidecimal via "raw midi" (or something close in BOME) as the incoming mapping because it is easy to be correct after you "capture midi".

Most of the buttons have separate on / off signals. So, I map ButtonR1C1ON but also mapped ButtonR1C1Off. (R1C1 = Row1, Column1).

I had some troubles with the variable output working correctly. I would have had the variable mapped to pp, qq, rr and just pass that variable to the output but it wouldn't work many times, especially after a restart. So, I hard coded 127 values to the outputs of the buttons. That seems to work. I'm not sure if it is ideal or not. I can see the input turn on and off in dot2. Bad mapping (in my very novice opinion) ends up with just an on action. Even just an on action Seems to work in dot2 for everything I use it for, but I'm annoyed by the input staying on. I want it to blink on, then off.

So, the APC40 has the ability to remap the lower bank of knobs based on the track selection. I'm not interested in any of these reasons. If I did not, I'd be over 127 notes.

LoopBE.
    oder
MidiOx mit einer Midi Loop-Software z.B. LoopBE.
