kinda skiped over that.. tryn now. but can i not store a preset for up down, without the pan values stored ?

group A ... (3) position presets tilt ----- and maybe (3) pan position presets ?

group B... etc

laptop has no usb drive atm..but shows usb1

home pc shows internal... so how do i change ?

nm.. just found it in the backup screen

not sure why but sometimes the library doesnt populate correctly when im tryn to add fixtures and it shows drive usb1.. sometimes i get lucky and it works but not sure what the fix is,

since i travel i never know who is rigging and what the layout may be which is too many unknowns to program for..

i wish to have several show files with different layouts saved..

then only use chasers in my button wings.. all of which only serve as a position movements "min and max" i hope soon to have incorporated

and then use exec buttons on f1 /f2 /master for effects and color assignments based on group selection

tryn to keep everything dynamic.

ps. is it not possible to cmd then add 90 degree value say in chaser sequence 1.001 ?

is it possible just to assign the cmd group xx ; macro xx

thus having a group thats interchangeable ?

now that i have my head around the dot2 im looking to change all my positions from percents to variables..any quick links to show commands and syntax to accomplish this

to clarify i have a chaser cuelist that has pan set to 60 and tilt say 90,

i wish to have pan set to aa and tilt set to bb, thus when at a new venue i can easily adjust aa and bb maximum and minimum when setting up with midi input.

def possible.. i found it more reliable to have a few strobe buttons with diff rates as the slider is not predictable as i want.. and speed on screen does not reflect actual light. just thought id share that

one more request.. please put a position pan and tilt top hat like a joystick on the main fader page so i can assign with midi translator. thanks

a couple of 1/2 speed and double speed buttons on the main fader page would be awesome !!

nano control has small sliders which you may not like when it comes into positioning movers.. i agree with the apc..i use apc20 and game controller with an extensive bomes translator file

looking for cmd line to set the external window magic speed screen options... exec time master rate x2 /2 etc

well i have gotten them working as planned..
running chaser sequence say at 75% dimmer,
now with faders that adjust the groups output 0-100% of the value in chaser sequence

this is a winner thanks for all the help guys

this does not over ride the running chaser values like the dimmer 0-100 percent fader?

the above method only is additive to the cue

i did get lucky somehow and got one more done... i remember seeing the { flash up } but cant figure out why i cant find this when trying to store exec

when they hang they are 90 degree out.. invert flips things ok but everything is pointed off stage .. i have added a cue to the chaser as a quick fix last show.. im now just making new chasers but whats the right way ?

i have a group that has a dimmer assigned to a fader on exec 4 but i cant duplicate this for another group on a dif exec

what is the easiest way to edit a cue which is stored in the chaser sequence on an exec? would be nice to right click the values to fix, or move up/down button

can we get a graphics update on the exec buttons... could really use a color change on the actual toggle button to indicate its running.. would help my future touch screen
