That's actually good to know re the off time. However, that was just one example of how I like to use the release cue. Lets try another:
I want a cuestack with my spots doing a dimmer delay wipe, left to right. Then right to left.
Cue 1: Spots at 100 - Delay 0 thru 1
Cue 2 Spots at 0 - delay 0 thru 1 [Type - Time 0.5s]
Cue 3: Spots at 100 - Delay 1 thru 0
Cue 4 Spots at 0 - Delay 1 thru 2 [Time - Time 0.5s]
As you can see, a temp will not work here because I need cue 2+4 to keep playing after I let go of the button. They must be triggered 0.5s after the first cue so the delay consumes half the spots. This must be a Go+ button. Then, the spots will stay on Dimmer 0% until I turn off the cue.

How does one invert the pixels of a multi-instance fixture in the patch? On MA2 this was pretty straightforward, however I cannot seem to find where to do it on MA3.
-
There is only 1 off cue per sequence
-
I see what you mean. However, this solution does not allow for fade out times. Only fade in times. I like to have the lights flash on, then fade out with .2s. Is that possible?

Quote from Andreas
this works for me:
Cue1: spots Odd Full
Cue2: spots Even Full
Cue 1 property Release: Yes
Cue 2 property Release: Yes
Executor Key function: Temp
Sequence property RestartMode: NextCue
- or did I misunderstand what you want ?
Display More
This does not work, as when stop pressing the cue, it remains on the 'off cue' - either 2 or 4. That has values at zero. So when I push up my spots fader it the evens will be off.

Dam. I really hope this is implemented in future releases. How do I submit a feature request?
-
But then I cannot reference my positions, so that does not solve the issue

How is it possible to set the cue mode to release, like in GMA2? I understand the concept of the 'Off-Cue'. However, I often like to have a cuestack of bumps, which I want to release after each hit. Currently I cannot achieve this and the exec stays on thus affecting output of other cues.
For example:
Cue 1; spots Odd full
Cue 2; spots Odd Zero (MODE: Release)
Cue 3; spots Even full
Cue 4; spots Even Zero (MODE: Release)
Thanks!

I am in the process of replicating my MA2 showfile on MA3. In MA2 I used Tweak FX a lot in which I would reference absolute values e.g. position 'sky' and position 'low'. I have made a tweak effect on MA3 for my Spots group. It is a 2 step phaser with step one (absolute) Dimmer at 100 and pan+tilt as preset 'sky'. Step 2 is the dimmer at 0 and pan+tilt at preset 'low'. When I run this effect in an exec it turns off my Spots Position cuestack. Then, When I re-activate my Spots Position cue - it kills the movement on the tweak FX, leaving only the dimmer chasing.
What am I missing here, how can I run this effect without it off-ing my position cuestack and how can I change my position without that stomping my effect movment?
Thanks!

Its back again. This must be a bug?

A restart of the software seems to have solved this

Thanks Ryan. When I create a new show, that GDTF image is somehow back in gobo 1 again.
-
I added some GDTF fixtures to my file then all my phaser presets changed their background image to the appearance assigned to that GDTF fixture. What caused this and how do I revert to the original appearances of my phasers?
I cannot find this image in the following pools: image, appearance, symbol & scribble

Is it possible to enable more than 1 midi input option? I currently have a midi encoder device which I use for the encoder wheels, now I want to program timecode with MTC. Is there a way to have more than 1 midi input?

When I plug my USB in, I get this popup 'do you want to migrate data to new folders?'
What data is it talking about? I have lots of MA2 show data on my USB, will that be affected?
-
Ah I got it, Thanks! Command line=ScreenConfig 1

Just checked, I cant see anything about a second page of view buttons. Of course I could make a macro to copy and paste overwrite various items in the views pool, but that gets a bit messy. Do View Button pages exist?
-
Is there a syntax to view additional View Button pages? On GrandMA2 this was 'ViewPage 2'
