Answering to point 5.
The premade or default users are locked and you cannot use your own user profile with them. Make a new user and use your profile with that and it will stick.
But that said I fell in this rabbit hole also and hope this behavior changes in the future so U simply cannot change the user profile for those users or remove this handicap or safety measure.

Do it in many steps like 20 different random steps
-
Do one in absolute values and on with relative values?
-
Group master applies only to dimmer i think, so no help here.
-
shouldn't work if you made those seques temp? And controll that fader?
-
Personally I've come to like them simple boxes without images, but that just me( they're easier to hit 😅). Still I would love to see gobos with dimmer and color.

Universal Prestes make sense only in use of Dimmer Values....Positions should all time be selective (f.e. if you have a Fan....each Fixture has its own position. another point is, each fixture has a different range and if its universal...what would the range be?) Colors should be global to have the chance to use positions of a color wheel as well in that preset, further, a universal Color Preset only contain RGB but no RGBW or whatever other color information.
Just saying that universal color presets have rgbw and other colours if you make them with a fixture that has them.

No it cannot be shown in the 3d visualizer in MA3. You can preview your screen in layout view by NDI stream.

Not yet to my knowledge. Only way for video to be shown is from appearences and layout view. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

assign group 1 at preset 1.4.1

cue-numbers are nether integers nor decimal numbers, as cue-numbers are limited to 3 digits after the dot.
this is a number format not supported by $variables
you could workaround this by converting the cue-number to a string before setting the $variable
local currentcue = tostring(cue.No/1000)
or
local currentcue = 'Cue ' .. cue.No/1000

Many thanks for the fast response. Now I can go to sleep.
Really need to start learning Lua properly, it just seems like bottomless well atm. But still this is why I love MA3 there is so many different learning opperturnities with this software that I have just scratched the surface!

Borrowing this thread for a bit.
Tried to use this LUA scirpt for my self but hit a little wall and my understandin is not sufficient to go forward.
Syntax:
Run script
$selectedexeccue
CommandLineHistory:
Illegal object:Fixture 3.000000
So no if I write to commandline:
Cue $selectedexeccue
I get illegal Cue number in return.
Can somebody enlighten me what I am doing wrong so I might learn something new. Thanks in advance.

Hello there is a problem with your user profile. U can allso fix this problem by going to another showfile and export the default user profile out of that one and import it to your broken showfile.
-
Use at filter to filter out attributes you don't want to store or double tap the attribute you want to gray
-
Can you use exec time? That controls all executors that listen to exec time.

There is a solution in this other thread.

Change Speed in a Cue
Hi
I want to change the Speed of my Speedmaster 1 to 95 BPM in a cue.
I use the CMD of this cue: "Master 3.1 at 95". But then the Speedmaster shows me 240 BPM instead of 95 BPM. What's the correct syntax to set the Speedmaster at XY BMP?

There is a small grey slider in that window so you can scroll to the right to find the missing collum.
-
Click off and then attribute you want out off programmer.
-
Take a look at selection grid and learn how that works.
And sorry for not explaining it further. But selection grid defines how fixtures handle phase for example.
-
Nope. Would be great though!
