I'm the same opinion, and If that would cause any licensing issue, then an all in one linux+ma on an bootable USB Stick would do the job as well.

Unfortunatly for the case of theater venues, the main sequence informations with intensity timing and text is the most important thing to import and is mostly the only information set that can be reused and that save a lot of programming time to import. Fixtures types, presets and patch has to be adapted to the material of the host venue and need manual work anyway. dimmer curves and multi-patch is the key feature that is missing as well for the moment and that is absolutely necessary for touring in different venues with different material. how can I import cues informations from a third part show (ETC eos for example). I know how to do it on ma2 but could not find it on ma3 onPC. As I have a venue with a lot of guests shows this feature is determinant for purchasing ma3 or not as main light desk. Bests regards
