When applying a gel color to a conventional fixture in the patch window, the only option i get are the sliders... Is there a way to select from the gel pools?
On top of that, is there a way to copy/paste the gel color to other fixtures? With a lot of conventionals in a show this becomes an extremely tedious endeavour.

Thanks for the answers!
Indeed, a plug-in to do this automagically would be a godsend.
Unfortunately my lua knowledge is beyond limited.
I thought of making a macro that goes thru all the cues in a sequence using "IfOutput > @Full > Merge to Sequence 99 Cue 1" ...repeat for all sequences.
Theoretically this will give me a single cue containing all used fixtures at 100% Dimmer. From there (with pen & paper) it should be easy enough to recognize and manually delete unused fixtures from the patch.
..now to actually get the Macro's syntax right...
I'm trying to clean up a showfile by removing all unused fixtures. Doing it manually (opening every sequence and looking at the content) takes ages.
Is there a way to filter unused fixtures and delete them from the patch automatically?
Either I'm an idiot and cannot see it or this definitely needs to exist. ...(without having to go in to patch and change the 3D visible option every time)
Patch window > be sure to select "Full" columns view on upper right menu (not "condensed") > scroll till you see "Color Gel" and edit accordingly.
You can export .MVR from the patch and import it to Chamsys MagicQ Visualizer (free).
From there you can print the paperwork, including 2D Lightplot and patchlist as pdf or csv.
I still don't get how this is not standard feature in a "top dog" ecosystem like GrandMA3.
Basically, i used GO+ / GO- assigned to a rotaryl encoder to scroll thru the cue list but it also launces the selected cues immediately, regardless of the cue list being toggled to "OFF".
I would like to scroll / pre-select a cue within the cuelist but only "GO" when I choose to launch it. How?
I thinks there is an option for this on 1.7. its called something like export show media or something in The backup menu. Will check this soon I get to My pc.
I just tried on 1.7
Imported new images and saved with "Export Media" enabled to USB. Opened on other PC and only about half the images / appearences where there.
Weirdly, non of the images are present on the USB drive but some got saved anyway (maybe saved in the showfile instead??)
It's easy enough to Export everything manually... but it should be automatic.
+1 for specific "Export Everything" or "Package Show" option.
I build shows at home with onPC and when i reload the show on the consolle (or another onPC) there is usually something missing or grayed out and i need to manually re-create or re-import ending up with duplicates.
ideally I would connect my PC, load a show from the node usb port and then disconnect consolle/onPC soft and let the show run by itself. This is mainly so I cal load position and colour values for my fixtures but control dimming via guest console. Would this work?
Any plans on expanding the software to more than 1 universe? (via buying a licence and use other than dot2 nodes)
Very helpful ty. Also nice would be to know how to disable automatic DPI scaling.
