thank you very much, didn't know that, because i thought when there are ma2 fixture types in the following folder: C:\ProgramData\MALightingTechnology\gma3_1.8.8\shared\lib_fixture_types\grandma2, it's also possible to just import it and it can be found/used in ma3...can someone explain please? These fixture types are already converted from grandMA2 to grandMA3.
You cannot import grandMA2 fixture types directly into grandMA3.

To solve this, open the closed display via the display selector, or move the positions of all dialogs to your desired display (Set Dialogs to This Display) or reset the positions of all dialogs to default (Set Dialog Positions to Default).

Can you execute the command ReloudUI and then try it again?

What does the command line history display when you execute one of these commands?

You can load the grandMA2 show file in any grandMA2 version that is newer. All show file migration related stuff that happened in versions in between will also be done.
For example, your show file is converted to be a grandMA2 v2.9.1 show file.
When you load it now in grandMA2 v3.9.60.50, all the migrations from 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and so on will be done by the software.
And when you want, you can then convert the grandMA2 show file into a grandMA3 show file.
Before running the show, in all cases, you should double-check if the content of the show is good. Please note, that not all parts of the grandMA1 show file can be converted to grandMA2, and not all parts of a grandMA2 show file can or will be converted to grandMA3.
You could store a cue 0.001 while having nothing in the programmer and using the All store setting.
This stores a cue with all attributes at default value into the cue.
Storing the cues of your show behind this cue will then track these values and a block command would also block these attributes.
When you're done with programming the show, you can delete this cue again.

The software does the integration stuff automatically in some cases.
You can store the content of the programmer to any cue you want.
So apply the values the fixture should have in cue 1 in the programmer. Then execute "Store Cue 1" (or if it is not the selected sequence execute "Store Sequence x Cue 1", the x stands for the name or number of the desired sequence).
In the appearing choose Merge.
Which version of grandMA3 onPC and of Windows 11 do you use?
If it is v1.8.1.0 or prior and Windows 11 22H2 then please update to the newest version of grandMA3: v1.8.8.2

No. This works only during runtime.
grandMA3 software deso not store the usual system monitor output into a file. Only when it crashes the last entries are stored into a crashlog text file.
Sorry, but I didn't understand how to use the DumpLog command... What is supposed to happen hen I use it? In the manuel it says that it is "used to deposit the output of the system monitor in form of a text file". Where is that file stored?
The manual says also, that the system monitor tells you also where the file was stored on the hard drive after executing the DumpLog command.

No. You have to open the app_terminal.exe in Windows by using the cmd.exe of Windows.
Where will the messages be stored? In the crashlogs folder?
When using the piping, you define where the file on your computer will be stored.

The system monitor output is usually only displayed in the system monitor window inside the grandMA3 software.
If you want to get it into an external file, you can dump log the current state once by using the DumpLog command:

Or you use the grandMA3 terminal application to connect to the system monitor of your running grandMA3 station. When you connect from a Windows station you can pipe out the messages by using the standard piping from Windows.
At moment it is possible to use AutoCreate for groups via command line.

You could also disable the grand master in the show file and assign world or group masters to special executor 5 (the grand master encoder). This would give you separated "grand masters" of the two floors.
In grandMA3 the small version (Network Menu) is the minimum version for nodes to join sessions.
This is not possible, yet.

You are in setup mode !! ... now no Artnet values are sent, only discovery packets.
This is not true. When Output and/or Input ar enabled, also the DMX packets are sent out/received.
The DMX Tester encoder bar is part of the new v1.8 release.
The DMX Tester encoder bar belongs to a DMX sheet window. Therefore when entering a DMX keyword into the command line, the tester encoder bar cannot pop-up. Open a DMX Sheet window and enable the DMX Tester Encoder bar by toggling the corresponding button in the title bar of the window,
Both DMX keywords (DMXUniverse and DMXAddress) are located on the X8 key.
DMXUniverse 1 at 100, for example will set the Tester output to 100% for all DMX channels on universe 1 (see release notes of v1,7 for this feature)
