If the fb4 is controlable by DMX and you know the DMX chart you should be able to control it from dot2 and grandMA2!

What you see here has nothing to do with Presets. It's GrandMA2 Layout view with a matrix of Macros. These Macros control some Cues in Sequences. It's custom made by some users it's unique and needed hours to be made.

This is only possible in grandMA2. In dot2 you are not allowed to write your own macros or assign other things then fixtures into your layouts views...

But I think this is ok because creating this kind of layouts is by far not easy...and to be easy is the main idea of dot2!

I absolutely love the dot2. But sometimes I wish there was an "Easy" "Advanced" function tick box. Our volunteers can run it in the "Easy" (Default) mode and our programmer/designer (which is me at the moment) can run it in the "Easy" mode or the "Advanced" mode for special items like macros and other stuff.

Sometimes I pull an old (forgive me for saying this ) LSC Clarity VX20 four universe out of storage and run its advanced functions to supplement the show via art-net.

i follow what your saying as staying easy but....these same ppl dont have the money to buy consoles... so they have to learn to advance what they have available or switch software to something that supports midi controllers on a plug n play. i dont see any load midi profiles in the dot2.

i have almost completed my apc20 mapping w 8 pages of midi to control dot2's 6 wings including page up and down..plus 2 pages of quickshow pages.. since again this falls into the beginner level of pangolin.

i also use game controller for all the effects and macros in dot2 on right side. for moving ligts, left side for quickshow panolin effx

only real limitation right now besides the led feeback must be on chaser seq cmd out.... and the one channel midi in...is my ability to change fixture orientation w/o effecting program results as the show will output on different "wall" excuse my generic term as i am new
