    First time poster long time lurker.


    Just starting learning the Dot 2 XLF / onPC software. Wanting some more movement effects for moving head lights and wondering if it's possible to make a movement effect that looks more random then the default Ballywhoo/dimm.


    Would I be better off creating a cuelist with multiple positions then turning it into a chaser? And if so can I then save that as a preset for the fixture.


    Also with saving presets I noticed that if I save a preset for a fixture the preset will show up when I select a new fixture but won't do anything. Is there a way to only see fixture specific presets in the preset window?

    This is the only option you have...so this sounds like a good plan! ;)
    There is no need to save this as a preset as it is already stored as an executor.

    No unfortunately the view can't be filtered. The best idea is to label the presets with a clear name. Then you get a better overview of which preset is working with which Fixture.
