  • Hi. I am trying to write a macro and I always mess up the quotation marks. I have conssistency with opening and closing them but I always put the wrong ones. My latest adventure is with this line in a macro:

    Lua " if "$zoomcount"==0 then CmdIndirectWait('setuservar "ZoomCountGroup"$tempgroup 1') End "

    As you can see there is a triple quotation mark.

    The specific answer would be nice. But is there a more general guide to how to deal with that?

  • Lua has a third set of quotations via double square brackets [[ ]]

    I use these in my scripts, I assume they work via the macro command line implementation that you're using

    But, I don't think you can call you variables this way from within lua, have a look at GetVar
