  • I'm looking for some assistance regarding the "Escape" keyword in the software. I'm trying to figure out how to exit or cancel certain actions, but I haven't been able to find the specific keyword or alternative method to achieve this.

In software v1.0 it looks like the keyword was "Es" but any mention of the keyword has been removed since v1.0

If any of you are familiar with the "Escape" keyword or know how to cancel or exit actions within GrandMA 3, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Escape is not a keyword, it is a hardkey.

check out this section of the manual to learn how to mimic hardkeys

Thank you, this solution worked flawlessly. I appreciate being able to assign a quick key and easily trigger it from the command-line interface. Initially, I was approaching it with the mindset of the MA2 system, assuming that the escape hard key would have a corresponding keyword. The presence of the "ES" keyword in MA3 at first led me to believe that there might be another keyword that could serve the same purpose. However, utilizing quick keys turned out to be an elegant solution, as long as the technicians refrain from altering them.
