Hi, I have a simple fixture with two geometries with 1 dimmer each (2 total), everything works fine, but on the selection grid, the squares always display the fixture as 100%. See attached screen shots:
Removing one of the dimmers from the fixture makes the selection grid squares work properly.
This is not because the fixture has two dimmer channels. This is because you have the parent fixture selected, which does not have a dimmer channel. If you only select the children, they should display as normal in the selection grid (meaning, at 0 when dimmer is at 0, at full when the dimmer is at full). If you select only the parent fixture, it will display white because it does not have a dimmer at all. (Technically, it displays the "Gel Color" for that fixture as defined in patch, but if you change this (e.g. to black) then the actual dimmers won't display as you want (because they would also be affected by the gel of the whole fixture).)
Yeah its my mega wish for some form of ‘visualize children’ setting where by the parents only show lit/coloured if the children are.
