I’m having the same problem with update 1.8.8.2. Whenever I try to open presets or 3d window, the program crashes and I get exception error code: 0xc0000005

I was having the same issue. I could open the show file and click on every view except 3D and Selection Grid. The 3D and selection grid views will crash MA3. It would crash when I tried to create any one of the views. This was not happening when the 1.8.8.2 update first come out so I started suspecting a driver issue with AMD since some had AMD machines in this same thread.
I have an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X CPU and a AMD Radeon Pro W6800 graphics card. I tried the newer 22.Q4 Enterprise driver edition but MA3 would still crash when selecting the 3D view. I switched to the newly released Adrenalin Edition 22.11.2 (Recommended) driver for my graphics card and it fixed the issue. No more crashes.
I hope this works for others who run into this issue.

All work fine with Adrenalin Edition 22.11.2 (driver version 31.0.12029.10015, date 11/30/2022)
, but windows update roll back driver to previous version (31.0.12016.3004, date 8/29/2022)
