I patched a show in the start show and the positions fade macros for the layout views is messing up my cues. It override’s the cue fade and is always stored in the cue. If I do edit cue X and off Fade and Delay on the programmer and update it is still stored as a value in the cue?
How to fix this?

Have you tried storing as remove (I think it's called that in the options)
No remove dosent work and Executor time is not active
In which start show : your personal start show or the one in the Demo folder in the console/onPC?
The one in the demo folder
In that show the position fade times are cooked into the sequence by macro. If you need them to behave differently you have to edit the macro's.
For example : Sequence 1 thru 10 Cue 1 Cuefade 10
However you would need to rebuild the show file to your needs to change the recipes and their behavior
