Importing MA provided fixture doesn't work (grandMA3)

    I asked MA Tech Support to create the eurolite TMH-S90 fixture for me and they thankfully added it to Fixture Share today. Unfortunately, I am having difficulties importing it. Here's the link to the file.


    When I go to Patch > Fixture Types > Import > User in grandMA3 onPC, the xml file is recognised, but the Manufacturer field is empty, the Name field contains "FixtureTypeFile 1" and the other fields (version, etc.) do look strange, too.


    After importing, when I check the fixture type with Edit, there are zero nodes. It seems to be completely empty.


    Can you guys try this out for me and report back whether it works for you? Am I holding it wrong?

    The file you linked is for grandMA2, but you want to import it into grandMA3.


    You can patch the fixture in a grandMA2 show on a PC (Win 10). Then you choose the ‚Save as grandMA3‘ option from the backup menu. After loading the converted show in grandMA3 you can export the fixture type as grandMA3 fixture type and import it into your show.

    Thanks! Seems it’s time to set up Parallels on my Mac. :) Is there any chance we’ll see support for what pretty much seems like a standard conversion task surface directly in grandMA3?
