effect in and out attribute

  • hello

try to make an effect that the dimmer is go in and then invert the diraction .

    like side to side effect.

    can it be done?

    thank you

  • Sadly no it can't, and hopefully the ability to do this is added soon as I don't actually know anyway to nicely pull of a BOUNCE effect right now.

If anyone does, I will buy them a beer!

  • The problem is you would have to be ridiculously precise to get the timing right (any attempts I've made have failed unfortunately). This is made worse by the fact we don't (yet?) have a chaser mode, or loops in cuelists.

I don‘t get your point, if I will do anything precice, I‘m always using delays and cues instead of effects since 10 years.

Then you can use one go and one follow and trigger it to the beat manually.

  • Because there are people who don't want to spend the time to sit and adjust the delay and fade times across 100 fixtures individually until they hit the exact timing.

They'd sooner create a phaser in 3 seconds and type in the BPM. And to be fair, that's not really an unfair ask of them.

  • thank you.

I think it must be an easy way to o it .

it can be done on the MA TRICKS option or by the phasers screen pools.

I think it was an option in the ma 1 console.

  • the easiest way to do a bounce effect on a fixture selection is to create a selective dimmer phaser preset with 2 steps. first step dim value 0 thru 100, second step dim value 100 thru 0. phase= 0 for the complete selection.

clintos you owe me a beer now :D
