  • Maybe one of these approaches could be a solution for you:

if your macro is not labeled:

Assign Macro 5 At Layout 1

    Set Layout 1."Macro 5" Property "PosX" 100 "PosY" 200

if your macro is labeled with a known and unique name:

Assign Macro "myMacro" At Layout 1

Set Layout 1."myMacro" Property "PosX" 100 "PosY" 200

if your macro is labeled, but not with a known or unique name:

    Store Layout 1."JohnDoe" Property "PosX" 100 "PosY" 200 "PositionW" 100 "PositionH" 100

Assign Macro 5 At Layout 1."JohnDoe"

  • Hey Andreas,

This commandline: Set Layout 1."Macro 5" Property "PosX" 100 "PosY" 200 you wrote above is an illegal object in the commandline and doesn't work. I can not get it work. Do you know the right command?

    Thanks in advance!

  • The Layout Element has the same name as the object assigned to it. If you have labeled Macro 5 something specific (e.g. "MyMacro"), then you cannot reference the Layout Element by the name "Macro 5" because it is actually named "MyMacro".
