Flash dont work with external midi device

Hello Forum,

i connected an external midi device (nanoKontrol2 Korg) and connected a button to a sequence as GO+ and it works fine.

When i change the button to flash, then the lights go on, but when i release the button the lights dont go off.

Midi commands where fired on press and on release of the button. In the menu->In&Out i see the value jumps from 0% to 100% and back.

Is my sequence wrong?

With the executors it works fine.

midi sends two messages - when you press a key and when you release it. (noteon, noteoff - or noteon with value 127 and noteon with value 0)

The program already knows what to do when you press it - but it doesn't know when you let it go - you have to program the off function for the second midi message

Or try set correct triger on, trigger off values

Hello Krysztof,

i changed the output from my nanoKontrol from CC to Notes with the help of the Korg Editor. Now it works! Thanks.

Unplugging its USB connection and plugging it back in will often do the trick. If your MIDI device does not appear in the utility, consider reconnecting the cable, connecting it directly to your computer, or trying a different USB port. PC: Device Manager. Right-click the Windows icon and choose Device Manager.
