  • Hi bros.

i have the issue that trig time function not work on timecode.

Lets say i have Cue 1 thru 6, cue 1-3-5 is Go+ and cue 2-4-6 is set to trig time mode

if i go manualy by Go+ button, it is ok, hit go, cue 1 run and cue 2 is trigged , same for cue 3 and 5.

On timecode, i have 3 marker for cue 1-3-5, and when play timecode, it just go cue 1-3-5 only, no auto trig cue 2-4-6.

Did i miss something on setting, programing, etc or it is bug?

    Thanks for any help.

  • Hi NM!

I ran into the same problem a few weeks ago. At the moment this is a known limitation that I hope, will be fixed in future versions.

The workaround is to add a Goto command in the previous cue. Example:

    cue 1 - cmd Goto 2

    cue 3 - cmd Goto 4

    cue 5 - cmd Goto 6

I had to play with cmd delay some times to make it works.

    Good luck!!

  • If you record the cues with the record function in the timecode, the timed cues are also set to record.

The idea that all cues that are started via cmd or automated are also recorded arises from the desire to be able to jump somewhere in the timeline during playback, and to always have the correct status on the stage.

In the future, these automated cues should be linked to take over a change of timing in the sequence also in the timecode show.

  • I have reported this to ACT and am told it is on the list but it has not made it in the last couple of updates. If they want that functionality they need to have an option to disable it. It needs to be able to runs as MA2 with a cue respecting its follow and trigger commands. Also needs a way to have an option to stop recording trig time and follows in the timeline. going in and deleting all the trig time cues in the timeline is a pain.
