Remember how the TIME key behaves as default is an option in your user profile.

Just use "Fade 2".
You can get to it by pressing MA+Time (3 times if you are on Absolute values).
You can also Change the behaviour of the Time key in "User profile configuration" on the column of "Time key Target".
