Lua Plugin: UDP/TCP String Sender

For sending UDP or TCP messages to a device.

After importing, run plugin to set or change the destination IP and Port and select UDP or TCP. Note that if you select both, it will default to UDP. You can also send a test string from the setup dialog.

After setting a destination, incorporate into your show by adding a CMD to a cue or macro with the line:

Tested in v1.8.8.2

Rename stringSend.txt to stringSend.lua

Rename stringSendXML.txt to stringSend.xml

That’s funny. I just rebuilt a UDP plugin for MA3 based on your old MA2 one the other week.

hi, i did tried the plugin , it works great if you run from a onPC but from a console I get an error

the "SEND" doesn't work on console, but from onPC it's great.
