using midi notes

Hi,
I am trying to remote control GrandMA3 with midi notes. Can anyone help me? I am sending midi note on/off from a pc, console sometimes executes, sometimes does not execute. Is there a proper midi note syntax that GrandMA 3 console requires? I am sending "midi note channel, midi note number, midi note on", 50ms delay, "midi note channel, midi note number, midi note off". Does it require to include midi velocity?

I don't know how it is on gma3 but, in the past on gma2 the velocity was used for dimmer values. When you send 127 there should be no problem. 127=@full 0=0% 64=50%
