Hi,
When i open MA3 onPC for macOS it works normally, i can even patch lights and use them, but when i click the already existing view for the 3D window, the program crashes
Is it a known bug? Is there a way to solve it?
Thanks, Michele

Several questions:
Several questions:
- Does your Mac meet the minimum specs as outlined here?
- What software version are you using?
- If you open a 3D window from scratch rather than using the predefined view, does it crash?
- If you load the Demo Show and call the 3D view, does it crash?
- Menu -> Backup -> tap the title bar button that says {Shows} twice so it says {Demo Shows}, then choose the "Demoshow_onPC_and_Compact" show
Btw, not only it crashes, but also the mac freezes for 5/10 seconds
I clicked on the “grandMA3 Terminal” and on the terminal that opens it shows this:
SchroedingersCatIsDead
TerminalApplication has created components
TerminalApplication is starting components
TerminalApplication has started components

Terminal started. type 'exit' to quit
The crash log might have more info, although sometimes not.
The only issue is if you are connected to the Internet and the console crashes the crashlog gets deleted (I assume because it's uploaded home).
So if you disconnect from the Internet then cause the crash, then in finder Command+shift+G to
~/MALightingTechnology/gma3_1.1.4/onpc/temp/crashlogs
In there you should see a timestamped text file from the crash.
You might see something helpful at the bottom of that log, but maybe not.

There’s nothing in that location
Strange, I disconnected my mac from LAN and WLAN and crashed onPC and the txt file is there. when connected to the Internet you sometimes see the file momentarily then it does away.
So what should i do? Any other things to try?
Might be worth an email to MASupport or your local distributor.
I believe your MacBook Pro 16” is a dual GPU?
- If so, make sure that your computer is using the discrete graphics chip, and not the integrated graphics chip

I will do that

I just tried forcing the discrete gpu with the same result, the app crashes
Hello, I have exactly the same problem as you.
But I don't have the problem with Mac but with Windows.
