  • Hi,

    Made some phaser effects and stored them in the step recipes, the effect (simple color chase) doesn't work on the astera's on other fixtures works fine.

    Any idea what could be wrong?

  • Hi,

    The titan tubes has a total of 16 pixels if u run them on that mode.
    So for example if u patch a tube, the fixture ID will be 1, if u click the breakdown arrow key you will see the pixel ID's which starts from ID 1.1 thru 1.16.

    You can try this; Using Step Creator

    Store Colour Presets > Red , Green & Blue

    Clear All

    Fixture 1.1 thru 1.16 at 100%

    Open Step Creator >At Top Right Corner, beside the word Create which is Value Attribute, change it to Preset.

    Step 1 > add Preset Ref > look for Colour preset which you store Red

    Step 2 > add Preset Ref > look for Colour preset which you store Green

    Ins Step 3 > add Preset Ref > look for Colour preset which you store Blue

    Then press Create

    You will see a rainbow effect, you can adjust the speed, transition to make it better.

    You can now store them at Step Recipes

  • Hi,

    Thanks that worked!

    I would love to see Fixture 1.1 thru 8.16 at 100% (meaning that 8 tubes are seen as one, so effect goes across from fixture 1 thru fixture 8), but this gives an illegal index?

  • Hi,

    You could try;

    Fixture 1.1 thru 1.16 + 2.1 thru 2.16 + 3.1 thru 3.16 and so on... til 8.1 thru 8.16

    or

    you can use the Selection Grid method;

    Create Group 1 of 1.1 thru 1.16

    Create Group 2 of 2.1 thru 2.16

    until Group 8 of 8.1 thru 8.16

    So at the end you have 8 groups of x.1's thru x.16's

    Open a Selection Grid Layout

    You will see a blue highlighted box starting at 0/0 (X/Y) point of the grid, Select Group 1 & you will see rows from Grid 0/0 (starting) Fixture ID 1.1 thru Grid 15 Fixture ID 1.16

    so now

    If you type > Grid 16 > you will see the blue highlighted box shift to Grid 16 of your selection grid > now select Group 2

    & as you can see the grid becomes smaller because more fixtures has been added in the rows from 0/0 to 16...

    This is fine, just zoom in & go to the right look for the next available grid number to put your group 3 & do this for all the 8 groups.

    Taking the message from my previous reply;

    "You can now store them at Step Recipes"

    Select your rainbow step recipe & done.
