I have a couple fixtures in MA2 that I've tweaked so they actually work, but when I try to import them into a MA3 showfile they don't show any information other than "FixtureType #" as the name with no Mfgr or any other info. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Create a grandMA2 show file with these fixture profiles, convert the patch of this grandMA2 show file via Backup menu in grandMA2 to an grandMA3 show file (at the moment only the patch with fixtures and fixture types will be exported. More to come later.).
This file can be loaded in grandMA3 and from there you can export the fixture types as converted (from grandMA2) fixture types and use them in other grandMA3 show files.
Ok, did the export but can't find the exported file...???
I found the patch file, but where does it go in the MA3 directory tree?

The export created a new MA3 showfile in the MA3 shows directory, I was just too busy looking for an export instead of opening my eyes... LoL

The output is only as good as the input.
The grandMA2 fixture type had a broken Color1 wheel and wrongly built function sets.
This is the corrected grandMA2 *.xml Fixture Type.
After the Show Patch conversion the fixture can be exported as User Fixture *.pxml from grandMA3.
Oh, i've got the same issues with an Elation Rayzor 760 Headfile. I downloaded the MA2-Headfiles (one made from ATC, one made from MA) from the MA-Share, made a Show with them in MA2, converted in an MA3-Showfile, exported the heads into MA3s Headfiles but I see the same "rubbish" as TVTM_Brian saw. Might there be some errors in the headfile too?

Oh, I found the solution myself: You have to export the Files in MA3 as the last step not from the patched fixtures list (there is an export button to). You have to export them from the list of available fixtures types in the show!
