Hello,
Is it possible to use phaser as in ma2, with groups wings and blocks? or do I have to create several steps ? with several groups of fixtures ?
Im trying to create a dimmer fx like a dimmer Chase with group:3
Thanks

Hi AndreZiggas,
currently groups, blocks, wings are not implemented in the phaser editor. This will come later.
So a workaround at the moment is to use MAtricks and phase values in combination....but this workflow will definitely improve.
Oh Ok,
Thanks !
Hi,
that mean in this vers.1.0.03 we can create Phaser for selected fictures only?
that mean we can create phaser groupsly
Hey jpsound,
of course you can already create global phasers. It is the same story like creating global presets. So not only for selected fixtures.
There is also the possibility to create universal phasers using the universal fixture (it is like universal presets). But this workaround will improve in the next versions, so at the moment not really nice to use.

Can you explain this workflow. I tried to use MAtricks with phasers but had no luck.
Select your fixtures, apply the desired MAtricks settings (e.g. XWing=2), apply your Phase range (e.g. 0..360)
Hi Ryan,
Selecting the appropriate MAtricks with wings set to 2 and then pressing the "create" button in the step creator worked me. In MA2, we could set wings to -2 which would make pan (for example) symmetrical. I suspect I could create a symmetrical look in a round about way, but was hoping for something as simple as setting the wings to -2 as in MA2. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Hi Sam,
this workflow is not available yet but will be implemented.
So far we need some workarounds but this will be improved a lot in the near future.
I spend some time behind the desk and here is a simple work around.
Have Fun.
Thanks for sharing!
Great import system and instructions, will try it out.
UPDATE:
The new Version (2.2) works now with grandMA3 Ver. 1.4.0.2.
Thank You
