Storing positions from effect

    Hi guys,


    Just wondered if anyone knows of an easy way to create position presets from an existing effect? In this video you can see Christian creates an effect and then reduces the rate to zero. In order to save the fixture positions as a position preset, he then stores the dmx output values rather than the programmer values. Is there any similar functionality within the dot2 or a method to achieve the same effect - ie quickly creating a position preset?

    Lars sais no, so no. I do not know, if it is possible, but maybe, try (I did not watch the video). Make p/t effect, set it to Speedmaster 1. Make Speedmaster 1 fader. Run effect, turn Speedmaster 1 at 0 (stop). Tap Position Presettype to be red for desired fixtures in the effect. Maybe you will see the actual p/t values red in the Fixture sheet to be prepared for storing. If so, store this position and continue...
