By default, MA has the highlight value on RGB fixtures set to max for each color, is there any way to change the default to 0?

I do not know for a hundred percent, but probably only by making a new fixture.
In fixture builder you can definitely set default values. Unfortunately, the fixture you have to build yourself is new since the dot2 device files are protected against changes even before opening ... And it's a shame because you could learn them quickly how to build devices ...You can also probably ask MA tech support ...

You can export them from GrandMA2 onPC to your Stick and then import them to dot2 Fixturebuilder

GM2 have format .xml or .xmlp?

Hi,
some informations regarding your questions:the default libary fixture types in gMA2 and dot2 are protected fixture types (xmlp - p for protected),
this has Copyright reasons. To Change now some Settings in a Standard libary fixture type, go to "Setup/ patch and fixture schedule/Change fixture type"
and Export the fixture type you want to edit (if you have a USB stick plugged in, it will be exported onto the stick into the "dot2/libary" Folder. This (former xmlp) file is now an editable one (XML) and you can Import it into the fixture builder!
